Our Story

Just like many of you, I love BBQ, but I didn’t take it seriously until about 20-years ago. It started with a small offset stick burner, then a pellet smoker, then a big stick burner and now, I still have the stick burner, two pellet smokers, two Weber gas grills and a kettle charcoal grill.

I call the Three Rivers, Pittsburgh area home, but have been on an endless quest for that perfect Barbecue. I have traveled from Texas, the Carolinas, Memphis, Kansas City and most places in between– What I found is that they are all great! Different, but great.

​

I’ve tried to replicate many of them with success, but the fun part of BBQ is the search. I’ve experimented with Rubs, Sauces, Types of Wood, Temperatures and so many times, I’ve come back to my old favorites. The Rubs and Sauces you’ll find here, are by far my favorites.

You won’t see videos and such here, because there are so many good ones on YouTube, I’m not going to bore you watching how I do mine. I will post some tips and I would love to hear back from you on your favorites. Some of the YouTube videos I follow are listed below. Check them out and keep searching!
