RJ's 3-Rivers BBQ Butter Burger Recipe

RJs-Texas-Bold-Beef-Rub.png

I tried this a few weeks ago when I saw it on Meat Church with Matt Pittman. You can watch him make this on his YouTube channel. Since then, this has been the only way we’re making Burgers!

Ingredients:

- 1-lb. of 80/20 Hamburger

- 1-Frozen Stick of Butter

- 4-slices of fresh American or Cheddar Cheese

- 4-Brioche Hamburger Buns

- RJ's 3-Rivers BBQ Texas Bold Beef Rub to taste

Preparation:
Make sure your hamburger meat is cold. Grate your butter and add it to the meat. Sprinkle with RJ's 3-Rivers BBQ Texas Bold Beef Rub and mix. Form into 4 equal patties.

Cook:You can cook these on a flat top or in a cast iron skillet. Place the patties in the skillet or on the flat top and medium high heat. (Put a thumb print in the middle of the patty to keep it from forming into a ball). Press down on the patty to sear. Add RJ's 3-Rivers BBQ Texas Bold Beef Rub to the top side of the patty. Cook for about three minutes. Flip burger over, cook an additional 3-minutes or until done. Add your cheese to the top of the burger. Coat your Brioche buns with Mayo (we love Duke’s) and toast on grill. Add your burger to the bun with a little more Duke’s Real Mayonnaise and some RJ's 3-Rivers BBQ Original BBQ Sauce and the rest of your fixings. Enjoy!

Take out and serve.
